The support of parents is sought in encouraging pupils to take a pride in their appearance. As a school we are very proud of the way the pupils present themselves. During the winter months outdoor coats in sensible colours and styles should be worn. Certain items of clothing will not be accepted at school: corduroy, denim, canvas or leather trousers or skirts. Shoes should be plain black with a low heel (not canvas or trainer style). Trainers are not to be worn during the school day, only for PE lessons. Only a single small stud may be worn in each ear, which will be required to be removed for PE lessons. No other jewellery is appropriate for Health and Safety reasons. Extreme hairstyles in all years, make-up in years 7,8,9 & 10 are not acceptable, Year 11 can wear light make-up only. Those items below which are marked with an * are obtainable from school; other items of uniform are widely available in local shops. Black V-neck sweatshirt with embroidered school badge * P.E.
